Forum rules
Registration to this forum is free! We do ask that you keep a few general rules in mind. Your thread may be locked at any given time, and you, as a member, may be warned for specific violations of these rules. We will generally reply to your questions within 48 hours, however, it may take longer depending on the time that the Administrators are online and the issue of your request. Our intention is to get to every single topic in time, so please be patient with us.
1 SPAM AND ADVERTISING
1.1 Advertising or posting links to other clans that are not associated with [SCA] is prohibited. This forum was created to discuss [SCA] clan related issues only.
1.2 We do not tolerate spam. Do not post small or useless posts that are not relevant.
1.3 Do not send PMs to other users promoting your forum or any other clans that are not associated with [SCA].
1.4 Do not hijack topics. Please try to stick to the author's first post in each topic, if you want to discuss something else, create a new topic.
1.5 Do not create multiple accounts. If it is discovered that you are posting using multiple user names for the purpose of harassment, we reserve the right to ban all associated accounts.
2 OFFENSIVE POSTS
2.1 Do not post offensive,sexual, abusive, obscene, hateful, discriminating, racial or harmful posts.
3 GENERAL ETIQUETTE
3.1 Attempt to use proper punctuation, spelling, grammar, etc. It makes the forum easier to read.
3.2 Keep the focus. Each index has a focus on a certain topic. Questions outside the scope of a certain subject will either be moved to the appropriate forum, closed, or simply be deleted. Please post your topic in the most appropriate index. Users that keep doing this will be warned, and then banned.
3.3 Please keep your signatures as small as possible; No signature should be any larger than 420pixels by 130pixels. The text in the signatures when created, should not be offensive. Avatars should also be kept at a respectable size.
3.4 Have good manners.
4 RESPECT THE AUTHORITY of moderators and administrators
4.1 Public discussions of moderator/administrator actions are not allowed on the forum. It is also prohibited to protest moderator actions in titles, avatars, and signatures. If you disagree with something that a moderator has done, we recommend that you PM or email the moderator and try your best to resolve the problem or difference in private.
4.2 All users must understand that the [SCA] forum moderators and administrators are doing this on a voluntary basis; no one is getting paid for this. We don't want to see any users demanding anything from the [SCA] forum administrators.
5 REPORTING ABUSE
5.1 If you have a complaint about another member, problems with other members, etc. please try to resolve by PMs, if necessary, cc: [SCA] forum administrators. Before posting, please try your best to clear up your problem on your own. To speed up the resolution of your problem, if you can, create a screenshot of your problem and attach it with your thread. Be aware and respectful of the difference between a personal attack and a difference of opinion.
5.2 If you believe an individual is repeatedly breaking the rules, please report to one of [SCA] forum administrators. Repeat offenders will be banned from the forum, and further action may be taken against them.
6 OTHER
6.1 You have agreed and given "SCA Clan" the rights and permission to use, modify, duplicate, and/or redistribute any attachments, posts, contributions, entries, and/or items.
6.2 We reserve the right to edit, remove, ban or delete posts, threads, signatures, avatars or users without notice or reason.
6.3 We may alter these rules at any time, without notice. So we recommend that you come back to it and read, to make sure you are aware of all the rules.
